Do you have a testing strategy?
I’m starting to question how we handle updates on our site. Most of the time, we change headlines, layouts, or CTAs based on what “feels right” or what competitors are doing. Sometimes we see a small lift, sometimes nothing happens, and it’s hard to tell if the change really worked or if traffic just fluctuated. We don’t really document hypotheses or run structured A/B tests consistently. For those of you managing websites more seriously — do you actually follow a clear testing strategy, or is some level of gut feeling always part of the process?
